Rooted in our community

Family. Community. Education.

My family has lived in Temecula/French Valley for over 20 years. As a wife and mother of three children in the Temecula Valley Unified School District, I understand the hopes and challenges our families face, because we live them too.

  • Service

Navy veteran who understands accountability, preparation, and showing up.

  • Expertise

Budget manager and data analyst who reads the actual documents.

  • Community

More than 20 years in Temecula and French Valley. A neighbor who stayed.

  • Family

Wife and mother of three TVUSD students. Her stake is personal, not political.

Where she stands

Five priorities for Area 3

Each priority comes with the question a trustee should be able to answer in public.

  • 01

    Parent voice

Parents are children's first educators. The board should make it easier, not harder, for families to understand, question, and participate in decisions.

  • 02

    Kids can be kids

Protect childhood with safe, age-appropriate, supportive school environments where students can learn and grow.

  • 03

    Strong basic skills

Reading, writing, math and critical thinking are non-negotiable. Students also need to use AI safely and ethically, protecting their privacy and their own judgment.

  • 04

    Fiscal responsibility

Public dollars deserve transparent priorities, understandable budgets, and disciplined oversight of every decision.

  • 05

    Community and character

Respect, integrity, opportunity, and strong school-community relationships help students thrive.

My promise to Area 3 families

Six commitments

  • Students first.

Every decision grounded in what best serves students.

  • A strong classical education.

Critical thinking, academic excellence, and the skills students need to become capable, independent thinkers.

  • Peace and civility on the board.

Constructive leadership, and trustees who work together respectfully.

  • A true partnership with parents.

Teachers have their union to advocate for them. Parents and taxpayers have the School Board.

  • Children deserve to be children.

Age-appropriate learning materials and a focus on learning, not adult issues.

  • Wise stewardship.

Taxpayer resources spent with discipline and kept focused on student success and well-being.

What this campaign publishes every week

Explanations first. The ask comes later.

  • Fridays · Video

    The Area 3 Family Brief

One school board item, one plain-language explanation, one question families should ask, and one source.

“Here is the one TVUSD item Area 3 families should understand this week.”

  • Budget · Data

    One Minute, One Number

A single figure explained without spin: what it measures, why it matters, what it does not prove, and the next question I would ask.

“A budget total tells us what we spent, not yet whether students benefited.”

  • Field · Listening

    At the Area 3 Table

Conversations in community rooms and locations across Area 3, and online through Ronda's social media pages. What is working? What is worrying you? What would responsible board leadership do next?

“Every Area 3 family deserves a seat at the table.”
